What Client’s are Saying

"At Edvard Grieg, we have tested SPAS in regular reviews where we follow up on activations, bridging and errors on the instrumented barriers. The tool makes it easy to work across disciplines and gives us the opportunity to take preventive measures early or correct unfortunate practices. This gives us better barrier management in operation, and we look forward to experiencing the same benefits when we introduce SPAS on other installations in Aker BP.

Anders Færden,

Barrier Management
Specialist, Aker BP

"SPAS has given us great insight into the reliability of the instrumented barriers. It makes it very easy to tackle "bad actors" and focus on them. We can also spend less time on manual work as SPAS gives us automatic confirmation of the status of the safety functions. SPAS supports us in having an overview of the status of the instrumented barriers at all times. This is in accordance with the regulations, ref. Management Regulations §5 Barriers: It must be known which barriers and barrier elements are out of function or are weakened."
